Creating a vector image using Adobe Illustrator is really not that difficult, all you need is a simple guide. This tutorial is for beginners and first time users, which I am going to teach you only the basic tools you’ll need on how to create a vector image.
Adobe Illustrator Vector Tutorial
Unlike a JPEG or a BITMAP image, a Vector image must be scalable and must not pix-elate, for example; this is a Vector image of an apple.

To creat this vector image…
- Click an Ellipse Tool and fill it with red color
- Go to Effect then 3D then Revolve. You really don’t need to change the options once the 3D Revolve option box appears.
- Just click “OK” then you can now draw the stem of the apple using a Pencil Tool or a Pen Tool then fill it with brown color.
There you have it, you now have a simple vector image.
But the basic thing that you should do in creating vector images is tracing. To be continued
