Adobe Illustrator Vector Tutorial

Creating a vector image using Adobe Illustrator is really not that difficult, all you need is a simple guide. This tutorial is for beginners and first time users, which I am going to teach you only the basic tools you’ll need on how to create a vector image.

Unlike a JPEG or a BITMAP image, a Vector image must be scalable and must not pix-elate, for example; this is a Vector image of an apple.

To creat this vector image…

  1. Click an Ellipse Tool and fill it with red color
  2. Go to Effect then 3D then Revolve. You really don’t need to change the options once the 3D Revolve option box appears.
  3. Just click “OK” then you can now draw the stem of the apple using a Pencil Tool or a Pen Tool then fill it with brown color.

There you have it, you now have a simple vector image.
