After the significant milestone known as ‘High School’ has been reached and ready to move on, it’s time to take a bigger leap on the stepping stone of our future, choosing a college course. The careers we have in mind might have varied throughout the years. When we were kids, we could mostly dream on being a lawyer, or a doctor or even a teacher. As we grow up, we grew to be more extreme, being a rocket scientist, a stewardess etc. but this step is a no turning back zone so be sure to choose wisely.

Narrowing It Down
First off, you can start by narrowing down your choices. Which field would like to be in? If you are an artistic person, you can go for an art-related course or if you like doing experiments, you can try courses in the field of science.
If you have chosen which field you would like to land in, it’s time to bechoosing a college major. There are tons of majors under a specific college like if you choose being into the line of arts, you can choose to major in painting, photography, advertising etc. Pick a major which you feel like you are more inclined to and one you will enjoy in. You will spend the next few years under the study of the major you will be choosing so you better choose wisely as to not fall out of love in the major you chose.
Never Forget!
The most important factor that you should consider is if you really WANT the course. Most of us had probably gone through the stage where you are pressured by your parents or your friends in choosing a major. Choose what you really want to pick and think if you can survive the years that you will spend loving that course you are in. It would have been great if you choose a course you have an advantage in because of your parents’ line of work or if your friends chose it but don’t think about those. Think of what you really want to do.
College is the preparation to the long path called career that you would be walking along to. It may be tough to survive in but the outside world is even more tougher. Choosing a major is a very tedious task so be sure to choose wisely and enjoy!
